Lewis Hamilton was more at fault for his crash with title rival Max Verstappen at the British Grand Prix. Hamilton was involved with a highly contentious incident with Verstappen on the first lap at Silverstone, with the crash prompting a huge backlash after his victory.
The Mercedes driver was handed a 10-second penalty after making contact with Verstappen and sending the Red Bull driver into the barriers at Turn Nine.
Verstappen had been on pole but ended the day in hospital as a precaution, forced to watch on as Hamilton fought back to overtake Charles Leclerc and claim a record-extending eighth win at the British GP.
