Dani Dyer’s jailed boyfriend Sammy Kimmence wrote a grovelling letter to a judge attempting to explain himself for defrauding two old aged pensioners out of £34,000.
The 25-year-old former stock broker claimed he was driven by ‘ego’ when he targeted two elderly gentlemen who he conned by claiming he would invest their money on horse racing bets.
He conned Peter Martin, from Hampshire, out of £26,000 – with the 91-year-old sadly passing away last year – and conned 81-year-old Peter Haynes, from Devon, out of £7,927.
But instead of investing money on behalf of the men, Portsmouth Crown Court heard that Sammy instead used the money to pay off his own debts and to bankroll his glamorous lifestyle.
