In 2011, she began appearing on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex, and following further appearances on television, she became a contestant on the seventeenth series of Celebrity Big Brother and the eleventh series of Dancing on Ice.
In August 2019, she began starring in her own reality series, Gemma Collins: Diva Forever.
DANCING On Ice has been slammed by some viewers for inviting 'non essential' celebrity guests to the show amid England's third lockdown.
Former contestant Gemma Collins, who was responsible for some of the ITV contest’s most-watched moments in 2019, returned to the show last night not to perform on the ice but to announce a competition to win £120,000.
TV fans watched as the GC was lowered from the studio ceiling sitting on diamond hoop while clad in a jaw-dropping pink sequinned fishtail gown and a matching pink turban.
The Towie star, 39, said: "I'm so happy to be here this evening, it’s amazing to be back." In light of her appearance, some fans insisted that Gemma's cameo was 'non-essential' under the current guidelines.
