Dancing On Ice's Matt Richardson axed as fans rage over 'unfair' elimination
dailystar.co.ukDancing On Ice as they were eliminated by the judges at the end of tonight's show.The 29-year-old comedian was given the boot after being in the skate-off against Colin Jackson.Fans thought it was unfair Matt was eliminated as he only recently joined the show after Rufus Hound and Billie Faiers were forced to quit.Rufus Hound left after testing positive for coronavirus and Billie Faiers left after suffering a concussion during DOI rehearsals.This meant Matt was recruited last minute and had just two weeks to prepare for his first dance.After he was eliminated, the star said he was "relieved" as the show was the most "horrifying and fear-inducing" thing he'd ever done.Viewers thought it was unfair that Matt was kicked out of the competition.
