Dancing On Ice could be forced to cut its series short unless celebrities axed over positive coronavirus tests are brought back.
Tonight, Jason Donovan became the seventh star, and fifth celebrity, to pull out of this year's disastrous series after suffering from back problems.
Usually, there are ten weeks in a series of the ITV skating show and its sixth week will air this Sunday. However, there are only five celebrities left in the competition - making a final with three stars impossible at the moment.
This means that bosses may have to make big adjustments to the series in order for it to run in full - or shorten it. Two of the five celebrities to pull out were due to positive coronavirus tests, rather than injuries: comedian Rufus
