Daft Punk have split after 26 years of making music, leaving Scots fans devastated.The French duo, who formed in Paris in 1993, revealed they'd split in an eight minute long video entitled Epilogue featuring footage from their 2006 film Electroma.The pair in their iconic robot costumes, bid each other farewell in the desert, before one of them self-destructs.The band's longtime publicist has since confirmed the split.The talented pair who collaborated with Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams and The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas were considered part of Scottish dance history after being signed to Orde Meikle and Stuart Mcmillan's Soma records in 1994.The Parisian electronic duo made up of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter had met.
