temporary Nightingale court at Salford's Lowry Theatre charged with murdering the youngster.Rob Hall, prosecuting, told a jury that there were a number of facts from the incident which both the prosecution and defence had agreed upon."At 4.20pm in the afternoon on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in Radcliffe, Zak Bennet-Echo threw his 11-month-old son Zakari into the River Irwell," he said."There's no dispute that, at the time, Mr Bennett-Eko was suffering a mental illness. "It was reported by members of the public who quickly raised the alarm but - due to the location and the strength of the current - it was about an hour before emergency services could rescue Zakari but by that time his heart had stopped."However, Mr Hall went on to explain.
