A mum has suffered a broken chest while her partner thought his face had been torn off when he was left covered in blood following a 'hit and run' horror crash.James Lindemann and his wife Rachael were being driven home by a friend from a 50th birthday party in Manchester in the early hours of February 2 when the nightmare incident took place. The group was travelling along Simonsway in Wythenshawe when dad, James says a car, ‘being driven by two young people’ from the direction of Greenbrow Road, collided with them just before 2.30am.James claims the other car involved, a black Vauxhall, was being driven at high speed.
The smash left the 50-year-old with blood ‘all over his face’, while his wife was left with a fractured sternum. But the driver and passenger in the Vauxhall fled the scene.
