mirror.co.ukA desperate father screamed "my baby's inside" as he tried to save a young boy and his baby sister who perished in a tragic house fire.
Fire crews were called to the scene at 10.45pm on Tuesday after a blaze broke out at the one-storey bungalow home in Christchurch, New Zealand.
But they arrived too late to save the young victims, now named as Brayden, eight, and Arianna, nine months. A fire chief who was at the scene described the inferno as "unsurvivable".
Commander Mike Bowden said firefighters rescued the 8-year-old boy from the house but he died from his injuries a shortly after.
