A much-loved dad has died in a horrific accident while working on a hospital lift. Sandy Noble, 33, was fixing up the lift at Royal Oldham Hospital in Greater Manchester when tragedy struck.
The maintenance engineer, from Scarborough, North Yorkshire, was working as a contractor at the hospital where he suffered serious injuries.
Emergency services were called but Mr Noble did not survive the incident on February 22, reports Manchester Evening News. He leaves behind his partner Carley Holden and his young son Jayden.
In a heartfelt tribute to her partner, Carley said Mr Noble was completely loved by his family. She added: "Jayden completely idolised him.
