Cyberpunk 2077 developers issue update on next-gen patch

CD Projekt Red has told investors that the next-gen update for the game is "on track" for the first quarter of 2022. The sci-fi game developer originally planned the update, which would optimise Cyberpunk 2077 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X, for late 2021.

In a presentation to investors looking over the developer's most popular titles, including The Witcher 3, a chart for the last three quarters shows that the time spent on Cyberpunk 2077 has declined since 2020.
