Luckily, nobody was injured and the ship then docked in the Alaskan city of Juneau, where the damage was assessed by specialist divers, who recommended that the vessel returned to Seattle to be repaired.

Passengers on the ship spoke of their horror at the terrifying incident as Alicia Amador told Juneau Empire it was a "horrible experience".She said: "The whole boat came to a complete stop from the impact", before adding that the iceberg was "the size of a semi-truck".Jason Newman was also on the cruise and told KTOO: "The ship had a severe judder.
