Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand believes there is a "100 per cent chance" Cristiano Ronaldo will be at Old Trafford when Erik ten Hag arrives.

The Portuguese ace’s future has been one of the biggest uncertainties ahead of the former Ajax boss' United reign. Despite contributing 18 goals and three assists in the Premier League this season, United's lack of Champions League football next season has led many to believe he could be looking to depart the club in the summer.Recent images of Ronaldo appearing to model United's new home shirt for next season, connote a future with the former Real Madrid and Juventus ace in United red.

And Ferdinand believes the 37-year-old will definitely remain with the club, despite the fact they will not finish in the top four this season. "100 per cent.
