Cristiano Ronaldo has been tipped to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Manchester United manager within the next 18 months.Ronaldo has hit the ground running since returning to Old Trafford from Juventus, scoring three goals in four matches including the equaliser that sparked United's comeback win against West Ham on Sunday.His impact is there for all to see, although some people felt he overstepped the mark when he appeared to coach his team-mates from the touchline during last week's Champions League defeat to young Boys.

Solskjaer played down Ronaldo's technical area foray, but Sherwood believes it is sign of things to come and is predicting the 36-year-old forward will replace the Norwegian in the not so distant future.
