Crisitiano Ronaldo has equalled a long-standing Wayne Rooney record for Manchester United. The 36-year-old attacker has been awarded Premier League's Player of the Month in his first month back at the club, beating Joao Cancelo, Antonio Rudiger, Allan Saint-Maximin, Mohamed Salah and Ismaila Sarr.
It is Ronaldo's fifth award and first since leaving Manchester United 11 years ago. Ronaldo made a shock return to United after 12 years away from the club, nine of them at Real Madrid and three with Juventus.
The Portuguese striker has scored five goals in seven games for United so far, making a huge impact as many would have expected.
