Manchester United stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes have been left out of the FIFA 22 TOTY squad, with three Man City players making it in.
United striker Ronaldo had been in every single FUT TOTY squad since the promo was first launched back in FIFA 12, but misses out for the very first time in FIFA 22, following a trophyless season for club and country, despite scoring 39 goals in 50 starts for club and country in 2021.
Reds midfielder Fernandes also misses out on a place in the FIFA 22 TOTY Final XI, despite scoring 19 goals and registering 17 assists for United in 52 starts.
Instead, Chelsea duo N'Golo Kante and Jorginho are included among the TOTY midfielders, following their Champions League-winning season and the Italian winning Euro 2020, with Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne also featuring following City's Premier League title win.
