theplaylist.netLike the oracle he is, Canadian filmmaker David Cronenberg told us all months ago that his next film, “Crimes Of The Future,” his first film since 2014’s “Maps To The Stars,” would likely premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and sure enough, early this morning, the film was announced as part of the Cannes Competition Official Selection.
