Gone are Samara's filthy white gown and long hair plastered down over her face.Instead the now 32-year-old has dabbled with auburn and blonde locks, leaving her looking completely unrecognisable from the child that scared the world all those years earlier.But as is the case with so many child stars, it hasn't always been plain sailing for Chase.

She's had a number of brushes with the law in the last few years including a felony charge after she allegedly took a stolen car for a joyride in November 2017.She was charged with a felony driving without the owner's consent in that incident.

Ten months prior, Chase was detained by LAPD detectives after she allegedly left a dying man in a car outside a hospital.Police ran her name and discovered an outstanding misdemeanour traffic warrant out for her, leading to her arrest.The man in the car was pronounced dead of a suspected overdose.
