The jab will first be given to NHS staff before it is rolled out to care home residents and the over-80s, despite the government classing them as top priorities for Covid immunisation, it is reported.Care sector chiefs have reportedly reacted badly to the proposed plans of make those most at risk of dying from the disease wait.The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) said in September that elderly people living in care homes and their staff should be vaccinated first.The report claims the new order might have been determined based on the nature of the Pfizer vaccine, which cannot not be safely.
