A university student who had tested positive for coronavirus threw a house party for 20 pals, telling police it was OK because he was quarantining at home.
The undergraduate was in the middle of his 14-day self-isolation period when he was caught hosting the mass gathering, reassuring officers "that's why I'm at my house".
Half a dozen students of Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio, were slapped with cautions following the Labor Day weekend party which broke restrictions limiting meet-ups to 10 people.
Officers descended on the home in E. Walnut Street at 4pm on Saturday, with bodycam footage capturing their confrontation with the attendees.
