The SNP leader also revealed in Holyrood yesterday that the booster vaccine programme for over 50s in Scotland could commence on Monday as well.

It comes as cases start to slow down, while hospitalisations rise following a surge over the course of the last month since lockdown restrictions were lifted on August 9.Over the last 24 hours 21 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.The latest figures for Scotland showed that 3,375 new cases had also been identified.It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive.
