Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Coventry's first EFL home game of season called off because of disastrous state of pitch

Coventry City were forced to cancel their first home game of the season after officials found the pitch unfit to host a football match.The EFL Championship side were set to host newly promoted Rotherham at the Coventry Building Society Arena but officials found the pitch to be "unsafe and unplayable" ahead of kick-off.

The inspection came after the stadium had been used to host the Commonwealth Games rugby sevens matches while the Sky Blues played out a 1-1 draw with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light last week. This follows an inspection that took place on Friday by the EFL and a local referee, which was also attended by Manager Mark Robins and Chief Executive Dave Boddy."We are very frustrated that the pitch at the Arena is not up to standard, and share the huge disappointment that fans, players and staff will feel that our opening home game has been postponed under these circumstances.
