Countdown fans are pleading with Channel 4 bosses to hire Les Dennis as the show’s permanent host after fans praised his guest hosting skills on Thursday (August 4).
The former Family Fortune's host, 68, who hosted the show between 1987 and 2002, returned to his post after Colin Murray was forced to pull out of today's show after testing positive for coronavirus.
