Matilda Freeman is worlds away from her blonde Coronation Street character Summer Spellman these days.The 18 year old left the cobbles of Weatherfield behind three years ago, after starting out in 2017, and fans would now do well to recognise her thanks to a dramatic hair transformation.

Over the last few months, Matilda's Instagram feed has been populated by an auburn stranger, as she captioned one particular selfie: "Redheads have more fun [fox emoji]."
