David, who has played the soap's much-loved Roy Cropper since 1995, is upset to see goth Nina change her appearance after the couple were targeted by a gang of savage teenage bullies last week.
Roy is concerned that his niece's sparkle may forever have been snuffed out by the hateful attack which caused builder Seb to die of his catastrophic injuries in hospital.
