serial killer.Who the corpse was had remained a mystery since it was discovered in 1994, but new DNA testing has identified him as Jerry Lombard, who disappeared from his home in Florida in the US in 1991.Police believe he could have been the first victim of murderer and rapist Daniel Conahan, who was convicted of killing several gay men in the 1990s - notoriously known as the Hog Trail Murders.The 67-year-old lured his victims into the woods, tied them up to take bondage photos, mutilated their genitals and then brutally murdered them.Conahan is thought to have offered to pay the men, many of whom were homeless or needed money.His killing spree continued until he was caught in 1996 after a man he planned to kill escaped and alerted.
