Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
A total of 241 Ayrshire and Arran residents have died as a result of contracting coronavirus. The figures released today by the National Records of Scotland (NRS) take into account COVID-19 deaths up to Sunday, May 17.
The news means that 21 patients in the region have died in a week.Today's figures also means that the region has reported its smallest rise in deaths yet (10 per cent increase).Last week 28 people died (15 per cent increase); while the week ending Sunday, May 3, 33 people passed away (21 per cent increase) and the previous week – April 26 – 39 people passed away (32 per cent increase).
Across Ayrshire, 45 per cent of deaths took place in care homes, while hospital deaths also accounted for 47 per cent of the figures.
