Coronavirus case identified at Edinburgh school as pupils told to self-isolate

Edinburgh school has been linked to new coronavirus cases as a second pupil tests positive. Gracemount High School has confirmed a case of Covid-19 with contact tracing measures now in place.

Staff and pupils who have been in direct contact are being identified by NHS test and protect teams and will be told to self-isolate for 14 days.

It comes as three schools in the Greater Glasgow area have also been linked to cases.Contact tracing measures are now in place at St Aloysius' College, Braidbar Primary School in East Renfrewshire and Johnstone High School in Renfrewshire.Argyll and Bute council chiefs are also understood to have identified an S5 pupil at Lochgilphead Joint Campus who has tested positive for the virus.This comes after an S6.
