Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon says her nerves were so bad that she couldn’t eat when she took part in Dancing on Ice.
Samia, 38, confessed to suffering from such bad anxiety during the 2013 stint that it led to a huge weight loss. She told podcast The Capsule in Conversation: "My first week of Dancing On Ice, I weighed just under seven stone.
I couldn't eat anything. "Sylvian was giving me doughnuts for a bit of sugar because my anxiety was so bad. I couldn't sleep, I was running on empty for the first couple of weeks because I was so nervous." The brunette beauty has played Maria Connor on Coronation Street for 21 years, with her first episode airing on ITV in May 2000.
