Filming on Coronation Street has been rescheduled after an actor tested positive for Covid-19 last week. Soap bosses have been forced to make adjustments to the shooting schedule, causing havoc for cast and crew.
This will come as a huge blow to production after Corrie recently cranked the number of episodes from three to six this week.
The ITV soap was previously running on a reduced schedule after filming was suspended from March to June due to the pandemic.
An ITV spokesperson told the Guardian : "We can confirm a member of the Coronation Street team has tested positive for coronavirus. "The protocols we have in place for such an eventuality have been implemented and the individual is now self-isolating at home." ITV have also said
