In recent months, grieving widower Daniel (Rob Mallard) has been shown to have become rather obsessed with sex worker Nicky (Kimberley Hart-Simpson) and even had her pretend to be his late wife Sinead Tinker in some unsettling scenes.
Upcoming scenes, however, will see the pair grow even closer and even sleep together, to the concern of Daniel's nephew Adam Barlow.
Yet as Daniel continues to bristle as Nicky's continued sex work, fans are worried that he will grow even more controlling if he discovers she has a past with abusive Geoff Metfcalfe ( Ian Bartholomew ).
