Coronation Street and Emmerdale cancelled once again in soap schedule shake-up

Both beloved soaps were also cancelled last Friday when England played Albania - but the good news is they won 5-0. England goes up against San Marino this evening and is expected to officially qualify for the World Cup.
To make up for the soap drought, tomorrow evening (Tuesday) will see each show air an hour-long special.However, fans were quick to voice their frustration on Twitter with one pointing out that the broadcaster has "other bl**dy channels".Another said: "Every time the football is on soaps get cancelled.
