Cops appeal for info after three-vehicle crash leaves Scots motorcyclist in hospital

Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses to a serious road crash in Dumfries which left a motorcyclist with severe injuries.

The crash, which occurred on the A75 between Gretna to Stranraer road in Dumfries, resulted in a 61-year-old male motorcyclist driver being rushed to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.

He has since been transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where medical staff describe his condition as serious.
