state trooper has been charged with murder after allegedly ramming into a family’s car during a pursuit, killing an 11-year-old girl.
Christopher Baldner from New York is facing a second-degree murder charge, along with manslaughter and multiple reckless endangerment charges, after Monica Goods died in December 2020.
Tristan Goods – Monica’s father – was driving with his wife and two daughters to visit relatives for Christmas in Upstate New York.
According to prosecutors, Baldner pepper sprayed the inside of the family’s vehicle, but it is unclear what caused him to do so, NBC New York reports.
