LOVE Island's Ollie Williams was barely recognisable as he attended King Charles III ascension ceremony on Saturday. The TV star looked a far cry from the fresh-faced chap who appeared on the show in 2019 in a photograph taken inside Buckingham Palace.
Ollie posed in a chair beneath a portrait of the late Queen Elizabeth II as he reflected on the past few days and Charles becoming King.
He told his followers on Instagram: "We mourn as a country. "Privileged to be able to see the ascension and pay my respects at the palace today. #GodSaveTheKing" The Cornish lad born was probably invited to the palace alongside his father Andrew, who is the High Sheriff of Cornwall.
High Sheriffs, chosen by The Privy Council, represent the Sovereign in their counties and carry out ceremonial and administrative duties.
