Conor McGregor has rejected Dustin Poirier’s proposal for a trilogy fight with a brutal response. The Notorious has been looking for a way back into the Octagon after getting knocked out by his rival at UFC 257 in January.
But the pair quickly shared messages about a trilogy bout, having a win each after the Irishman’s win in 2014. With Poirier announcing a third fight for July 10th, McGregor reportedly responded by saying he would “rip this game a new a******”.
The UFC star’s talks, though, were put in danger of collapse over a $500,000 donation to the American’s charity by his opponent which has not reportedly arrived.
