A drug dealer who attempted to impersonate UFC star Conor McGregor has been sentenced to almost three years in jail. Mark Nye pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs and also to driving whilst disqualified and without insurance, prior to being sentenced on April 9 at Guildford Crown Court.
Nye was stopped by police officers on 11 February in Stanwell and was detained after trying to discard class A drugs and two mobile phones.
Nye also gave officers the false name of ‘Connor’ and had several hundred business cards used for drug dealing, with the name ‘Mcgregor Enterprise’ written on the front and ‘Best drops in Surrey’ on the back.
