UFC star Conor McGregor has an interesting theory as to why Deontay Wilder lost to Tyson Fury on Saturday night. The Bronze Bomber was looking for revenge following the knockout defeat he suffered to the Gypsy King when they last fought back in February 2020, but instead was stopped for the second time in 20 months.
Fury ended things in the eleventh round of a pulsating contest having knocked his opponent down on more than one occasion during the bout.
The Brit enjoyed a significant weight advantage over the American despite Wilder weighing in heavier than ever - and McGregor says that huge disparity was a major factor in the outcome of the fight.
