Three months later, Poirier posted a Twitter message revealing the money had yet to be received, which led to an angry response from McGregor.
The 32-year-old replied stating he would not be making a donation until he knew exactly where the money was going to be spent and Poirier ended up apologising.
McGregor has not paid the $500,000 to ‘The Good Fight Foundation’, instead opting to give it to the ‘Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana’ in Poirier’s hometown of Lafayette in Louisiana.
