Bury, had been battling depression and anxiety following a diagnosis of alopecia totalis at the age of 17. She was an 'extremely talented' emergency medicine trainee who worked 'tremendously hard' and was due to start a new role in the intensive care department at Salford Royal Hospital before she took her own life.Her death was described by a coroner on Thursday (November 26) as a 'loss to society' and to her family and friends who adored her.An inquest into Alicia's death held at Manchester Coroners Court heard how she struggled to deal with her alopecia diagnosis - a skin condition that causes complete baldness of the scalp.She was prescribed anti-depressant medication in January this year and was signed off work for two weeks after.
