COLEEN Rooney's team has blasted "it's a bit rich" after Becky Vardy told her to "put your money where your mouth is". Defiant Becky, 40, wants Mrs Rooney to donate the legal costs she's been ordered to pay after losing their Wagatha Christie libel battle.

The defeated wife of Jamie Vardy faces forking over £1.5 million after a judge ruled against her in July. Now Coleen's team has hit back after Becky shared an image of a jar filled with coins with a 'charity' label on it and tagged Coleen's account.

Becky also added a quote from a news story, assumed to be linked to Coleen, said: "She'd be far happier to see the money they would have spent on lawyers being used in a more positive and productive way." She added a caption under the picture which said: “Let’s hope you put your money where your mouth is and some good can come of this whole embarrassing spectacle.” READ MORE ON WAGATHA CHRISTIEVARD WORD Becky tells Coleen 'put your money where your mouth is' after £800k Wagatha winHERE WAG GO AGAIN Coleen & Becky back in court for ANOTHER Wagatha Christie legal battle In another post, she said: “It’s always the ones with the dirty hands pointing the fingers.” But one insider from Coleen's camp told the Mirror: "It’s a bit rich to be preaching about money when Coleen wanted to settle this before the costs started racking up.” Winner Wag Coleen previously said of their landmark libel battle: “I never believed it should have gone to court at such expense in times of hardship for so many people when the money could have been far better spent helping others."
