Cocaine driver smashed mum's BMW into TWO houses - it left him in a coma

Raza Farid,21, from Oldham, had taken cocaine and was almost two-and-a-half times over the limit. Farid took the car while his mother was out last year, Manchester Crown Court heard.

He had not learnt to drive and had no 'L' plates on his car. Read more: He has now been handed a suspended prison sentence following the smash on December 11 last year.

The BMW drove at such a speed that when he passed another driver she told her husband 'he is going to crash.' Farid crashed the car in Hollins Road and seriously damaged two nearby houses.
