A unique Covid-secure Santa's grotto and a spectacular light show will come to Bolton town centre this weekend. Both are part of the 'Bolton Christmas Festival' which has descended upon Victoria Square in the past week.
A marquee erected outside the Town Hall is home to the 'festive bar' - featuring a number of live performances every day until Christmas Eve.

Throughout the town centre there are also attractions such as children's amusement park rides and a huge snow globe that people can step inside.
