dailyrecord.co.ukChristmas is coming to Newmains after a local company stepped in to provide much needed funds for lights.Members of Newmains Gala Committee and the village’s community council began a fundraiser earlier this week to raise a whopping £7,000 needed for festive lights and a Christmas tree.And the total was raised within a matter of days thanks a generous donation from Carfin-based company Jordan Electrics.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
