A festive village is coming to Blackpool this Christmas and there'll be a free ice rink for visitors to enjoy. Blackpool’s Tower Festival Headland is set to be transformed in the first event there of its kind - complete with the Illuminations as a backdrop.
As well as the 'centrepiece' ice rink, there'll be log cabins serving a range of festive treats, a magical forest, 'larger-than-life' light installations and Santa tram rides on the Golden Mile.
The much-loved Blackpool Tower will come alive each evening with Frost Fairies, a newly-created 3D light projection show. Specially produced by video projection artists Illuminos, Frost Fairies is an enchanting children’s story of fairies, fireflies, precious jewels and ice palaces.
