The Denmark midfielder, 29, collapsed during the first half of the Euro 2020 clash in Copenhagen. Referee Anthony Taylor called medical staff onto the field and prolonged CPR was administered.

Eriksen's distraught teammates formed a barrier around him on the pitch at the Parken Stadium. Players from both countries looked visibly upset, with fans in the crowd pictured in tears.

Eriksen's wife came on to the pitch and was consoled by goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel. The Finland players and match officials then left the pitch.
