Chris Eubank Jr warns Conor Benn he could be facing a 'public execution'

Chris Eubank Jr claimed it would be a ‘public execution’ if he was allowed to fight Conor Benn at middleweight.The pair will clash on October 8 at the O2 in London and they launched the fight at a fiery press conference on Friday.

Benn, 25, is moving up from welterweight to take on Eubank, 32, but the fight is at a catchweight of 157lb - 3lb below the middleweight limit.There is also a rehydration clause in the contract which means the pair have to weigh in again on the day of the fight.

I won’t be 100 per cent on the night. I can’t be anything but real. I can’t be 100 per cent when I have to go down to a weight I’ve never been to."If I’m 100 per cent it is a public execution.
