Emergency services were called to an indoor play park today following reports children were trapped when a slide deflated.Merseyside Fire and Rescue and North West Ambulance vehicles were scrambled to Adventure Land, on Marine Promenade, in New Brighton, Wirral, this afternoon.
They were called 12.39pm following reports an inflatable activity inside the play area had deflated while children were playing on it, the Liverpool Echo reports.
A statement from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said they were at the scene at 12.46pm and confirmed that all the children had been accounted for. READ MORE: The town where a new beggar appears every week READ MORE: 'Walking around the estate in daylight is depressing - walking around at night is frightening' Crews were alerted at 12.39pm and on scene at 12.46pm, according to the statement Two fire engines and the search and rescue team attended alongside North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).Crews arrived to find an inflatable slide had deflated.
Firefighters entered and confirmed than all persons were accounted for and provided general assistance. Crews left the scene at 1.34pm, said the statement.
