Children Of Bodom's Alexi Laiho cause of death has been confirmed. The guitarist and singer died aged 41 on December 29 and his bandmates announced his sad passing in January.
Following his death, a forensic investigation took place to discover what led to the heavy metal icon's passing, according to Kimberly Goss, to whom Laiho was still legally married at the time of his death.
Synergy musician Kimberley revealed the information that was presented in the report - which was in Finnish then translated into English - stated that Alexi died from "alcohol-induced degeneration of the liver and pancreas connective tissue" and added that he had a "cocktail" of drugs in his system.
