Police are hunting for the owner of a vicious dog after a child was attacked in broad daylight. Cops have launched an urgent appeal after the eight-year-old boy received an injury to the head in Northampton this afternoon (August 4).

Officers believe that the dog has returned to its owner following the frightening attack, reports Express.
